Grand Cayman
Another short cruise stop, spent on foot in George Town. Rain came through for part of the day, which emptied the sidewalks and slicked the streets near the port, and by evening the clouds broke up in time for sunset over the ships anchored offshore.
What's in the gallery
George Town in the rain: a girl cycling past Bar Crudo and the Blue Iguana souvenir shop, tourists and locals crossing near the port, a weathered turquoise house with a rooster behind the fence. Then the harbor: boats and the ferry under heavy clouds, passengers walking back to the ship at sunset, and cruise ships anchored offshore at dusk and framed by branches over turquoise water.
More cruise stops in Arawak Cay, Nassau and Roatan, Honduras. For how I shoot on cruise days, see Reflections, Silhouettes and Shadows: How I Shoot On A Cruise Ship in Behind the Lens.
